Disabled Grant buys Sanimatic WC Posted on Sep 28, 2011

Prompted by seeing a rise and fall Sanimatic WC at Festival Place, Basingstoke,

Occupational therapist Jenny Tamberlin decided to organize the purchase and installation of such a unit for an elderly infirmed client in Bishops Waltham. The Client wished to retain her independence whilst living in housing built to lifetime home standards. Being wheelchair bound the Sanimatic WC with its adjustable height has proved invaluable in assisting her to live comfortably on her own. This is the third time her client has replaced her WC, and it will be third time lucky for her thanks to Saniflo!

Saniflo have developed a range of products called Sanilife that enable practical modifications to be made to a bathroom assisting the elderly and less able person to remain in their own home.

The versatility of the design makes them perfect for use by the whole family and was developed to meet the increasing demand for products that improve the quality of life for the less able either through disability or the natural ageing process.

As their products have been designed to be aesthetically pleasing as well as practical and robust, this new concept is considered to be suitable for all types of property whether commercial or residential.

The Sanimatic WC has adjustable heights to accommodate the needs of the user. The height is adjusted by a handheld remote for customized ease of use.

Sanimatic enables the user to adjust the seat height up and down whilst seated, and also to flush the WC without having to turn or stretch.

The units can be wall mounted or recessed. Optional arm rests can be fitted should they be required.

The Sanilife bathroom range consists of an electrically controlled rise and fall Sanimatic WC and wash hand basin and the Kineduo, a bathtub with access door.

To enable showering facilities there is the Sanidoor- a split shower door and the Traymatic- a low profile tray provide ease of access. These can be used in conjunction with the Showermatic, a low level shower waste pump.
