In store bakeries are becoming so popular that German based Lidl have introduced bakeries to 130 of their 580 stores in the UK.
Irelandwas chosen to pilot this scheme and has proved to be a great success. The bakeries were installed in existing supermarkets, and Health and Safety regulations meant equipping all sites with hand washing facilities.
Due to the internal location of these facilities many without central gravity drainage and mains drains access Sanirish was asked to advise. As part of the Saniflo group with its versatile range of pumps and macerators, Sanirish recommended a Sanicom and one was installed in every store.
Sanicom is a professional range pump. Built with a powerful oil and fan cooled motor encased in aluminium housing, it can pump water over 110m horizontally and 11m vertically or a lesser combination of both.
It disposes of water circa 35° C but is capable of dealing with 90°C water for short periods dependent upon flow rate and discharge pipework configuration. Its high flow rate to pumping head is ideally suited to demanding commercial or industrial environments such as waste water from large sinks.
